KENWOOD CD - 1979 -EU

This is a 1979 TDK SA, one of TDK's most loved, iconic and nostalgic cassettes. One of their first generation of Super Avilyn cassettes. They still look and sound fantastic, even after nearly 40 years, they still perform amazingly well.

No need for calibration on most Japanese decks, as most were calibrated to this exact SA tape formulation... so, you're probably going to get a perfect recording without even trying.

Side note: Please accept our apologies for the exorbitant price, but this is not a cassette meant for recording. It is not... not really. This one is a Collector's piece. Rare as... well, you know... and not worth any kind of music that you can conjure up into putting on it. In the end, once it's yours, it is your choice to unwrap it and use it. But if you really want to use one, without losing the value of this Kenwood tape, then it's best you use the 1979 TDK SA, at 1/7th of the price and it's the same tape.

The last picture includes a 1979 TDK SA, showing the unmistakable similarities between these two tapes, highlighted in red. Top circle shows the small tape guide selection chart, and the lower circle shows the black shells with the exact same design.

NOTE 1: 60 Minutes: Only 1 available... ever! ;)
NOTE 2: 90 Minutes: Out of Stock.
