Sony UX Turbo - 1990 - US
One of Sony's best cassettes in our opinion. Wonderful for recording on and hardy. We seriously see this Sony tape as one of the most unnoticed gem of all tapes. Someone is just not paying attention yet! This is seriously good tape by Sony.
As per Sony and its very own description on the wrapper, this cassette has UX-S Type II tape inside and a very rigid and heat resistant shell. Best value SONY tape at our store! Going, going... gone!
The shell is welded, which some people don't like, but the truth is that welded shell is more rigid and better balanced than one with screws. It's only a problem should you want to open the cassette up...
We've found these don't really need any bias tweaks so should work well in all decks, but they are scarce.

Sony produced the world's first portable music player, the Walkman in 1979. This line fostered a fundamental change in music listening habits by allowing people to carry music with them and listen to music through lightweight headphones. Walkman originally referred to portable audio cassette players. The company now uses the Walkman brand to market its portable audio and video players as well as a line of former Sony Ericsson mobile phones.
