Hitachi EX - 1981 - US
1964 - Maxell Electric industrial Co., Ltd. changed its name to "Hitachi Maxell, Ltd."
In essence Hitachi Cassette Tapes are Maxell rebranded cassette tapes. Many Maxell cassettes have the "Hitachi Maxell Ltd." corporate name on them.
In this case, the EX-C90, is a tape manufactured circa 1981 and is very likely a re-branded Chrome Bias Maxell UD-XLII.
NOTE 1: 90 Minutes: RARE. RARE. RARE. These are extremely rare tapes and inventory is extremely low. Compare... you know where, a "USED" one just sold for about $14.00USD. These here at CassetteComeback have original wrappers on them, are priced at $19.81 and new... compare with one available in France for USD$37.17
NOTE 2: 90 Minutes: B-Grade. These have lost all of their original wrappers, however, they are 100% brand new. Never used or tested, with original J-cards and labels. They've been re-sealed properly to avoid outside elements (ie. dust) from making their way into the inside of the cassette tape, as well as, for ease of handling them without being worried that you might damage them unnecessarily. It may be a bit hard to tell that they are now 100% sealed. See the 3 pictures provided...
Sidenote: The plastic wrapper on these tapes are extremely brittle but they all have bits and pieces of the original wrapper. They all have been re-sealed with 75 gauge shrink film to help protect the original wrapper from getting further damaged. These might be one of the very best deals here at Cassette Comeback... get them while you can. These will be re-sold you know where, for up to another 50% on top.
