CERTRON HD ~1995 - US

Not much information about this company out there... Supposedly, a well known magnetic tape manufacturer based in California since the early 70's, well into the 80's. They produced audio and video magnetic tape in the USA, and eventually also outsourced their end product from Mexico, China and Hong Kong. This tape will hold some nostalgic value for some of you, otherwise this is the epitome of that type Zero "0" many of us keep refer to when it comes to poorest quality type I cassettes. Buy this tape for nostalgic reasons only.
If quality sound recordings is what you are looking for, please do not buy this tape.

Certron states this (tape) "is an advanced chemical formulation, and formulated to offer optimum performance for music... on all types of equipment, with increased dynamic range, maximum sensitivity, low drop-out performance, maximum output level"... damn, what a false, load of crap, bogus, BS ridden description about a tape, if I have ever read one. These statements could not be more contradictory. If you are not sure what a supposedly type "0" tape is, then... you need to buy this one, for reference.
