"One of the most beloved and nostalgic cassettes ever. Remarkable to find still sealed nearly 40 years later, a true tape for the collectors. As something to record on, you can get much better for much less. But as a piece of cassette history... a true classic!" Tony Villa

Note 1: 60 Mins: Made in Japan: Only 1 available. Very clean wrapper for a 46 years old cassette!
Note 2: 90 Mins: Made in France: No stock.

CAREFUL!!! FAKE 60 MINUTES CASSETTE : Read below:

Note 3: 60 Mins: Made in... ???: These are FAKE Sony cassettes. The shells look like they may in fact be Sony, but the rest... your guess is as good as mine.

a) Things to look for: Poor printing quality on the entirety of the wrapper. No mention of where it was made. One of the tapes has less tape than the others, suggesting it was either loaded up with 90 minutes tape or... it may have been switched by the previous owner(s)?! So hard to say... it looks terrible, much more so than what the pictures show. It looks like it may in fact been carefully withdrawn from the wrapper, which is almost impossible to do, however, the wrapper is open on its right side.

b) In addition to this tape being a total FAKE, an additional problem haunts these specific 5 tapes... they were heavily exposed to either a strong presence of humidity or... actual water! They all show traces of mould as well. They're a horror show.

c) Buy them at your own risk! Please do not ask for refunds on these 5 tapes. I am selling them because the alternative is to throw them in the garbage. I'll leave it to your curiosity to acquire one (or more). Cassettes with mould can be recoverable to a great extent, but I will leave the methods of doing so, based on your own research. Dare I say... have some fun with it?! January 9, 2025
