TYPE I - High Density, Hi-Fidelity Cassette. A Super-ferric tape with outstanding frequency response, wider dynamic range and minimal noise level.

Never offered here before. These are simply too rare and not for the faint of heart. TEAC even tops Denon as far as high prices are concerned.

TEAC advertising cassette! RARE.
I remember seeing ads on the Stereo Review magazines about these TEAC reel cassette tapes, same as the one shown on the reverse side on this cassette. See pictures. Not as attractive as the coloured series of 1984, but this one was sort of the first. The split cellophane is a clear indication that this cassette was manufactured around or after 1977. 

Note 5: 52 Minutes: Black Reels. Only one (1) available. Pre-owned. Lightly used. You can tell it was hardly used when you pull the first 20cm (8") of the tape, and it is smooth as new, with no crinkles, no railroad tracks, no bumps. See pictures. Previous content was erased. Cassette will be properly re-sealed. This will avoid the cassette case from getting additional scratches and scuffing. It will also keep dust and other elements from coming into contact with the cassette tape. The J-Card and the labels have not been used. SOLD.
